From Me to You...
Summer means changes for many. Graduations, weddings, often moving to a new home.
Moving is such a hassle, even in the best of situations! For the person who is getting a new home, why not put together a box of cleaning products, tapes, especially masking and duct, window cleaner, baking soda to get rid of any strong paint odors, scissors, some simple snack foods, and a plant. Include a coupon from a restaurant such as Buca di Beppo so the tired mover can drive up to the Santa Monica restaurant on Second St. to pick up a delicious hot meal to share with the friends who may have helped with the move. A lot of the time people have these items, but they are packed away in a box that can’t always be found easily.
Another idea, is to give someone you care about a trip to the Santa Monica Ford Quick Lane where they can get their car checked to be sure it is in good condition. And, if it needs repairs, this is where the person will be advised. Each customer even receives a written report, describing what has been checked, and what is the recommended treatment.
Santa Monica Place is reopening in August. One hundred mannequins that have been given out to decorate will be on display next month. Bloomingdale’s is opening at the beginning of August and Nordstrom’s at the end. Watch for more news.
Enjoy our beautiful weather and have a wonderful summer!
